*MUST READ* How to check your May/June 2017 WASSCE result


- Candidates who sat for the May/June 2017 WASSCE exams can check their results on the WAEC website
- Out of 1,559,162 candidates who sat for the examinations this year, 13.79% of them had their results withheld
- The overall results also recorded a 59.22% pass in English Language and Mathematics
The results of this year’s May/June WASSCE has been released by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC). According to reports, the results were released on Monday July 17, and candidates can go to the Council’s website- www.waecdirect.org- to check theirs. Here are the steps to take: 

1. Enter your 10-digit WAEC Examination Number. (This is your 7-Digit center number followed by your 3-digit candidate number e.g. 4123456789) 

2. Enter the 4 digits of your Examination Year e.g. 2002 

3. Select the Type of Examination 

4. Enter the Card Serial Number found on the reverse side of your Scratch card. 

5. Enter the Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your Scratch card 

6. Click Submit and wait for the results window to come up 1,559,162 candidates sat for the examinations this year. 

Out of that number, 13.79% of the candidates had their results withheld. The overall results recorded a 59.22% pass in English Language and Mathematics.
