It is known that the Universities and Polytechnics of Nigeria are yet to release their cut off marks for the year 2017/2018 admission. However, there is some common knowledge about the cut off marks for each university. In general, they are higher than 180. For some courses the point of 180 may be enough, for others, you need at least 200. But the point is that it's always the same - higher means better. - Medicine (O’ Level result with one sitting only) and Nursing - 220-240;
- Common Law, Anatomy, Mass Communication, Pharmаcy, Physiology - 200;
- English Language, Geology, Microbiology, Computer Science, all engineering courses except Agricultural and Biosystem Engineering - 190;
