Cut off Marks 2017/2018

The University of Nigeria, NSUKKA has finally announced it’s cut off marks for 2017/2018 session. Meeting the required cut off marks of the school for the preferred courses are one of the certain criteria.

They should be observed by students that want to be admitted to any university. In order to be aware of the cut off mark of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, continue reading. Cut off Marks 2017/2018 Meeting the cut off marks set by the university is essential in order to be accepted to the said university.

However, meeting the marks does not mean that you will be given the admission. Candidates whose score was high above the cut off marks have more chances to be given the admission and preferentially treated in the admission process.

So it is important that your score is higher than the cut off marks. If your preferable course has cut off marks higher than the number of points you’ve scored, it is better to choose another course or wait for a year, prepare for the exams and try again.

The Joints Admission and Matriculation Board, also known as JAMB has given the benchmark of 180 for candidates applying to all Polytechnics, Universities, and Colleges of Education. However, the school has the permission to change the cut off marks for particular courses.

This means that, for example, the cut off marks for Medicine may be 200 when the cut off marks at the school is 180. As you can see, it is essential to have higher points in order to be given the admission to a preferable course.

Just as with other schools, the cut off marks at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka is 180 points. It means that the student with the score of 180 in UME examination is eligible to apply for the admission.

However, it does not mean that the student will be given the admission. As we've said earlier, students with higher scores will be more preferable. Various departments of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka have their cut off points.

You can see them in the list below. They are divided into faculties.
