Iheanacho looking forward against Burkina Faso’s fall

Super Eagles striker, Kelechi Iheanacho is looking forward to a stronger and better performance against Burkina Faso in next Monday’s international friendly in London.

The Manchester City forward was on target for the three-time African champions in last Thursday’s 1-1 draw against a full-strength Senegalese side in a high-profile international friendly match at Hive Stadium.

The 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup winner netted seven minutes from regulation time to cancel out Moussa Sow’s opener early in the second half.
His goal saved the blushes of Eagles coach Gernot Rohr, who handed a debut to Watford striker, Isaac Success, while Olarenwaju Kayode missed a great chance to win the game late on for Eagles.

After his heroics against Senegal, Iheanacho is optimistic that Eagles will fare better against Burkina Faso, who were once managed by Rohr.

Admitting that the game against Senegal was tough, Iheanacho tweeted that, “tough game but we came back at the end. We focus on the next game, hoping for the best result”.
