Kcee has addressed the issue of the source of wealth of his brother, E-Money and the singer over the years. In an interview with NET.ng, Kcee waved off rumors that himself and his younger brother, E-Money got their wealth from illegal means.
On how he and his brother got their wealth, Kcee said, ‘We grew up in Ajegunle, but we worked hard for the money, E-Money was my manager, but he decided to branch out to real estate and here we are.’

We are not doing anything illegal, we have not duped anybody, or kidnapped anybody like that man (subbing notorious kidnapper, Evans).’
He then concluded with:
“If we are doing anything negative; Father expose us in Jesus Name..”
