Woman Allegedly Stabs Daughter To Death, Says She Is In Heaven


Laquita Lewis, 34-year-old mother, has been arrested and charged in court for stabbing her 4-year-old daughter to death after an fight with her boyfriend.
The suspect who is currently held without bail was arrested after texting her boyfriend, who called 911, saying the girl was dead and in heaven.

Senior Harris County Deputy Sheriff, Thomas Gilliland told Fox 26 Houston that the 4-year-old, Fredricka Allen had been stabbed multiple times in the chest and was found dead on Sunday.
He added that after the stabbing, she bolted from the apartment and got into a crash on I-10.
He told the paper it wasn’t clear why she would want to kill her daughter as she had gotten into a fight with her boyfriend on Sunday.
He said:
“It’s a very horrific type scene,
“It’s a 4-year-old child. Anytime you have the murder of a child it’s very terrible.”
“The defendant told the father that their daughter was no longer alive and was in heaven,” the paper quoted prosecutors as saying in court.
“She told the father she stabbed the victim in the chest with a knife.”
The Chronicle reported that Lewis had been accused of threatening to kill a man she divorced in 2012.
She pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor and was sentenced to probation which she was still serving.
